1 · About Pomp

Pomp is a free, browser-based cricket drafting game made for fun. You draft an imaginary XI and a simulation plays it through three competitions. There's no account, no purchase, and no real-world outcome.

2 · An unofficial fan game

Pomp is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the ICC, any national cricket board, league, competition, team, or player. Player names and historical sides are referenced for identification and commentary, in the spirit of a fan game. All player ratings and match results are illustrative, simulated, and for entertainment only — they are not statements of fact about, or an assessment of, any real person.

3 · Using the game

Please use Pomp for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Don't attempt to disrupt, attack, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and don't use it in any unlawful way.

4 · Intellectual property

The Pomp name, and the game's design, code, text, and look, are owned by us (or used with permission) and protected by copyright. You're welcome to play and share links to the game, but please don't copy, redistribute, or build a competing product from it without our permission.

5 · No warranty

Pomp is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the ratings are accurate, that results are realistic, or that the game will always be available or error-free. It's a game — enjoy it in that spirit.

6 · Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, Pomp.

7 · Changes

We may update the game and these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Pomp after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

8 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
